Lessons
I teach mainly guitar for beginners but specialize in teaching rock guitar for advancing players. Lessons work from ‘Real’ songs of the students choosing as much as possible.
Recent lessons have seen students learning songs by: Led Zepplin, Avril Lavigne, HIM, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Arctic Monkeys, Jack Johnson, Foo Fighters, Bullet for My Valentine, Joe Satriani, Nirvana, Guns and Roses, Paul Gilbert, Deep Purple, Linkin Park, John Mayer, Oasis, Queens of the Stone Age, Trivium, The Killers… In fact just about anyone you can think of!
As well as teaching other peoples songs I also encourage the student to compose their own tunes as much as possible. We then record them and burn them onto cd for the student to take home.
Students work will also be presented here on the ‘Students’ page if they so desire it.

Lessons are £12 per half hour lesson booked in advance in blocks of 6 or 12.

Guitar Plan
A while ago I authored a couple of books called ‘Guitar Plan’. These were supposed to be out of print because I wasn’t happy with the quality and the rushed and pressured approach that accompanied their creation. Although the information was mainly good(!) there were moments where the proofing left a lot be desired so I took measures to remove them from circulation. It seems that a few got through and although no longer supported by this website, if you email me with the ISBN I can make sure you receive the accompanying audio files via email.
